Life Cycle
Pushing up through the ground;
As the rain starts to pound.
Growing ever so gradual;
So young and fragile.
The sun so bright;
Seeking the light.
Branches grow longer;
The bark becomes stronger.
Providing an old maid
With everlasting shade.
As the leaves begin to fall;
Birds leave echoing their last call.
Reds and yellows swaying in the breeze;
Spinning and falling with ease.
The branches go bare;
When the limbs split and tear.
