Red: A Color Poem
Looks like the sky when the sun starts to set
The tiny ladybugs that buzz around in spring
The bricks that hold up homes
Sounds like a firetruck zooming by on the street
An old, creaky wagon being pulled by a child
A squawking Macaw in the rain forest
Tastes like the sweet strawberries in the summertime
A crate of fresh cherries from the supermarket
A melting Popsicle on a hot day
Feels like the soft strands of ribbon
The lipstick that is applied to lips before a party
A scrape from falling off a bicycle
Red can be beautiful and destructive

I really like the color red, and I think color poems are super fun and full of imagery.
