I Weep
I weep for both gender equality.
Man thinks the work for each is not the same.
But this should not be our reality.
We work for the acceptability.
Mankind believes we are the ones to blame.
I weep for both gender equality.
We are consumed in inequality.
We have worked hard and we have overcame.
Yet men don’t believe in our ability.
Our talents are held in captivity.
For many years we have been put to shame.
I weep for both gender equality.
Though this is the state of normality,
This issue make my emotions inflame.
I won’t give up until fatality.
I will never give up on my dignity.
Men now think this is some type of game.
I weep for both gender equality.
I will accept full liability.

I am a growing feminist and a full believer in the equality of both genders. This has been an ongoing problem for decades now and I believe sexism should end now, which is the main reason of why i chose to write this villanelle.
