Never Again
Off the crowded train she holds tightly to her mother
The stench of death fills the air
She is surrounded by tears and screams
Pushed and shoved toward the sneering Nazis
Families ripped apart
She ripped from her own never to see them again
Tortured and beaten she awaits on the angels
To save her from this surreal nightmare
Awaken and liberated
She is finally free
Never to be stripped of her rights
Free to be who she is
A proud Jew
She is a survivor of the Holocaust
Never again having to suffer
Never again
