"Homage To My Eyes"

these eyes are brown eyes
the eyes need mascara
they help me see the beautiful city.
these eyes fear bacteria and dirt.
they are bright in the sun,
and dull in the dark.
these eyes are known to be unique
i have know them
to glisten in the sun
and shine like the stars.
