The oak tree
The Mighty oak tree
Tall and fair and majestic
Stands above all else and watches
Listens and waits for the right moment
Its branches are long and tough
It has millions
Of leaves
That form
A blanket of greens yellows
Oranges and
Reds spread
Across the sky
its roots are deep deeper than
any other
but there is one
one who is greater
and rules the sky
the shocking crack
of a thunderstorm
will destroy shatter and splinter
without a blink once a great
oak tree now lies in ashes
