" Behind Closed Doors"
I'm the door that could be deceiving on the outside, I may be decorated and so called beautiful from the outside, but behind that door I may be broken and not all together. You never know what's behind closed doors; eerybody just assumes. I'm the door that everyone looks at and by looking at it, you may see the "welcome home" mat outside the door inviting you in. But once you're in you see everything from my point of view. You see all the destruction that was once made. You see the jagged cracks and how many times the door has been slapped over and over again. You see the family pictures. But you don't see the cracks in the glass. You never know what's behind closed doors until you're behind that door. I'm the door that everyone looks at but never takes the chance to see what's actually behind.

This piece was written in my creative writing class. And we were suppose to compare ourselves to an item or an animal or something of that nature. And I chose a door because I felt like that represented me the most.
