The Wish

The realest wish is for loved ones to see
who I am
and who I want to be.
It makes me wonder
if I'm too strange,
or the ones around me keep
their thoughts out of range.
Is it peculiar that I dream of purple hair or dream of a reality that will never exist?
If so, this isn't fair.
When will it be my turn to wave to adoring fans.
See the majestic places Earth has to offer,
if I'm stuck in imaginary lands.
