Grandpa
Oh how I miss my grandpa;
He was gone way too soon.
God took him from this earth
Because God needs Angels, too.
I miss everything about you:
Your laugh, your smile, your humor, too
All of the memories replay in my head
Yet they never fail to make me smile.
You had a smile that could light up a room
A laugh that was contagious
And a sense of humor that everyone enjoyed
The things everyone will remember.
The times you would take us camping
Or when you would take us out hunting
Gathering Maple Syrup as a family
Are the things that I will remember most.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you
I miss you more and more each day
I feel like it has been decades since I last saw you
But I can’t wait until I get to see you again one day.
