She - Serpent
Her tongue flickers
With utter glee,
As she whispers
In animosity
The secrets of
Her jungle home,
And the residents
Of its brome.
That venom drips-
Drips endlessly-
‘Til all that’s left
Is entropy.
Two black slits,
Her eyes, they say,
Pierce the heart
And start to fray
The ties and knots
Of feelings true.
Then, her fangs’ll grin
In vile coup.
One strike before you bid adieu.
