The Stage
This bar looks like it's on fire
With all the smoke and s*** up in this place
But give me a light
To my cancer stick
I'll inhale it for the one time
The fifth time this week
It might make me die early
But poetry in motion don't live long anyway
Because in my walk there is a song
In my eyes there is a story
In my mouth there are tons of words trying to get out
But I only spit them a few at a time
Because no one tends to listen
But give me a minute
I'll get your attention
Snaps and claps when I'm finished
Another light
I think I need it
Mind body and spirit
Have been shed on this stage
Mind body and spirit
They all got a limit
And I'm pushing them
Until these cancer sticks take me away
