Second Grade ~ arriving here in the U.s. I thought my life was finally going to change but not knowing enough enlglish, having a bad grammar, and looking like Jackie Chan in front of everyone, I realized how worse my life has gotten. I was made fun of the way i dressed, the way i moved, and especially the way i talked. Who would've ever thought that they have a term for that, they call it the ''FOB'' which stands for ''Fresh on Boat.'' My filipino name was ching chong cheng from the china town who loves to eat chow mein or simply the ''dog eater'' even though none of it was true, pretty harsh for everyone to give me a nickname that easily as if they were the one who gave birth. Then it was friday morning recess and a student whom i call line, just because of his unibrow started to torture me with everything i do in school. I got fed up that I started to curse him in my language in a vicious way like eminem, who ended up being the winner? I did because he surely was confused like how he sees his gender. That day, i thought i was on top of the pyramid, the king of the lions. To me, it was a good day.

Third Grade ~ My teacher, Mrs. Miller was very proud of me, she was proud to have a foreigner student in her class. He says. '' wow that asian kid's intelligent is advnced!'' since then all my classmates would end up copying my work or asking for help, i didnt have any problem with that, but being an asian intelligent student was the problem! I wasnt born with Albert Einstein's incredible brain due to what my race was an asian, oh you know. Typical asian means they are automatically smarter than everyone else, but that wasn't the truth. The truth was, I worked hard to achieve those passing grades, not becasue I was ching chong cheng.

fourth grade~ Wednesday after school, the attendance office or whoever makes the announcement and broadcast it to the whole school mentioned about random topics that I cannot recall, except for one particular event. The science fair, I wanted to sign up, and get the 1st place ribbon attached to my project, in my head there were tons of exciting experiments that I was ready to create and present until all my friends were in the same dream as I am, to win the science fair. Jake said, '' hey, should I join the science fair?'' My reply to him was '' absoulute...
