When its 32 below
And there is lots of snow,
All the eye can see is white
Like a cloud but not in flight.

Snowflakes land on the ground
But none make any sound.
Each leave their own fingerprint
Like tiny diamonds but don’t leave a dent.

The flour sifter in the sky,
Has gone so long it has to be almost dry.
Snowing for hours
Like a huge winter shower.

The snow got so deep
And the drifts got so steep,
That Mt. Everest was in my backyard.
I couldn’t see any ground like the snow was a guard.

Because of the blizzard,
The snowman started to look like a wizard.
He cast a spell on the weather,
The snowflakes flew around pretending they were feathers.
