Transforming Textures
The most miniscule way,
The most miniscule act,
The most miniscule gesture,
Can alter everything
It was an elfish ray
That their world lacked;
Transforming the texture
Like the spring’s breaths that sing.
Imposed by the one
That flashed the trace
And tossed the rope
To ascend from their ditch.
It was a run
Like a dark chase
To find Pandora’s Hope
And discover their niche.
We must accept
Because roses have thorns,
And of those who reject,
The outliers are born.

I was inspired by a suituation I was put in where one of my very good friends was threatening to take his life because of depression. It was then that I realized that the smallest things that you do, although may not seem like much at the time, influence people around us in ways that we never imagined. I think that one of the most important things that one can do for someone else is to show them that someone cares, even though it may not be appearant sometimes, cares. It may even be the difference between life and death.
