Race Day

The instant the race begins engines roar,

Cars charge ahead like wild boar.
Improving my time
In positions I climb,
I refuse to stop
Until I stand at the top.
With every deadly, death, defying turn
My tires die and burn.
The car’s heart are the brakes
Like a priest, they forgive your mistakes.
My car is a tiger extremely furious and fast,
And it always refuses to finish last.
The rough, twisted track is a devil
Trying to lay waste, to your car’s metal.
But in the end only a single soul can brag,
I did everything to achieve the checkered flag.

A week before I recieved the asignment my cousin took me to a track day and we raced his mustang.  Thats when i realized that i love going fast and pushing on the envolope of losing control.  Racing gives me a high that i can not put in words, and my intent was to share this with other people.
