Scared
I am scared that I will fail
Scared that I will not achieve my dreams
Scared that I won’t get anything
No matter how close it seems
My mind is a journey
A journey going nowhere
Lost in my own thoughts
And caught in a snare
I sit here, helpless, like being trapped in a box
I am an ocean, waiting for someone to dock
Suddenly my journey is coming to an end
It felt like a million years but it was only a small trend
A trend I cannot control, just like my emotions
Because I, like everyone else, am scared.
