Black Mirror
I have a black mirror in my pocket
What it contains I forgot long ago
It can take me away like a rocket
But where my destination is I don’t know
For it I reach like a baby for bottle
This cold piece of metal, weighing me down
My world, my friend, my lover my idol
The price of humanity, my people’s crown
At the end of the end this is all that is left
My facebook, my twitter, my pinterest, my tombstone
If that’s really it I’m a victim of theft
This damn chain round my neck makes it hard to go home
The great interconnection is all just a lie
Since this this began I’ve been all but abandoned
The secrets and fun are like really tight ties
My little black mirror has left me all branded
