A Girl Like Rain
  I know a girl
  with alabaster skin
  and delicate hands
  that know no sin
  eyes like the moon
as big as the world they peer at
as gently as rain on tin
give her a day and you’ll hear no complain
not a sigh nor a whine
nor any word really to speak her mind
she sits quietly and ever so still
  wilting so slightly
like the little flower she is within
  graceful limbs
  and a nearly silent voice
one may only guess what ghost lies in her wake
  the demons in her shadows
the judgements she may never say
what hides behind such a beautiful face
I cannot fathom her as more than a saint
perhaps trapped in a deed that she should not partake
but a saint all the same
  a beautiful girl
  sad like the rain

This was written about someone I actually know, she's a friend of mine named Jackie and even though we're not very close, she stand out to me. She seems very quiet and innocent (I'm sure we all know someone like that) but of course people are never that one sided, everyone has a darkside. I think thats what make humans so fascinating.
