It's Not About Time
In this moment nothing else mattered
The moment before everything shattered
The simple touch of your skin
Awaked everything within
And then I couldn't think straight
I just hoped I wasn't too late
Because in your eyes I can’t find an end
And I don’t expect you to comprehend
To understand the way I feel
The way everything was real
That when I was with you
I knew all my dreams could come true
I showed you a side of me
The person I wanted to be
You were the only one who could see
See that I was just screaming to be free
My head knows better than to love you forever
But my heart was never really that clever
But who am I to say
My heart doesn't know the right way
And the same goes for my head
What if it were wrongly lead
What if this could have been something great
And now I’m just way too late
Or perhaps it has nothing to do with time
Maybe you were just never meant to be mine
