A Message from the heart
April 2, 2015
The sky darkens in
its hazy way,
my gloomy heart
just meets the pace;
the rain plummets
to the yielding earth,
full of corruption,
and it just gets worse;
I cannot stand,
I'll fall down,
past bare cement,
below the ground;
sadness is filler,
in the crevasse of the heart,
but it does not fix,
just tears apart.
I don't know how
I can heal this gap,
every new road
is just a trap;
the inconsistency
of mind and heart
has overwhelmed,
from the start;
but there's a way
around this mess,
yet it won't just happen,
it starts with us.

That was a beautiful poem! I agree the last line was so nice, and it wrapped up the poem with a hopeful way. yay

Great last line, you're on a good start! Check your rhythm and stresses in a few lines, but other than that it was good.:P
