Curiosity
She sits to watch the flowers grow
And reads the phone book, A to Z.
“I do it cause I wanna know.”
It turns to spring and time is slow
She captures bugs to set them free.
She sits to watch the flowers grow.
She battles, with her cheeks aglow,
A scary monster bumble bee.
“I do it cause I wanna know.”
And when it rains, she grabs a bowl
To catch the drops and make a sea.
She sits to watch the flowers grow.
Then when the lights start dimming low,
She asks her dog to help her read.
“I do it cause I wanna know.”
I only wish she could bestow
A little curiosity on me.
She sits to watch the flowers grow.
“I do it cause I wanna know.”
