An Ode to the Darkness Inside
For every word we never spoke
The Faith of a lost ground
Losing the meaning of death
Save your sorrow for the crows
If you see me losing sight
I shall fear no evil
When you hath bled out
For every tear affixed
The pain inside my heart
Cannot quell the fear in yours
Carry me down the aisle that final day
Lower me beneath the skies of gray
For every word we never spoke
Tears were cried as silence fell
Wash away your pain
Let all fear inside drown
If I lose faith in death
Show me the way
Show me what lies beyond
Those stained glass doors
As tears make you cold
And shake your weight
Bleed every care out for me
When the rain falls to wash the pain
When you lower me beneath that sky
As the comforting rain falls
To erase away the pain inside
Carry me down the aisle that final day.

I created this in a parallel to how I feel about the subject of death.
The feeling that I wish people to feel is not necessarily one of sadness, rather more of a friend-like way of speaking about one of the hardest topics in existance to talk about.
