Every day when I awake
Given with a path I must take

Opportunities will be presented to me
Which one I choose is yet to be

For there are so many things I must consider
If a wrong choice is made, it could leave one bitter

Sometimes people you may think are your friends
Can sway you to do things you may not intend

For when kids are hanging around just having fun
Actions happen that cannot be undone

And even when you think this will not happen to you
Ironically it can happen right out of the blue

For the choices we make on any given day
Will determine whether you will stay on path or go astray
