Voices
Things happen for reasons.
Don’t be the first one to shout.
Keep it bottled up and move on with the seasons.
No one likes it when you pout.
So be happy and smile,
never show anyone your doubt.
Things will be okay for a while,
but then that voice inside your head comes back
and you try not to throw up bile.
It tells you everything you lack,
but if you would calm down you’ll realize,
no one’s here just to attack.
