Death; A Painful Truth
My heart filled with darkness, as death bestowed upon me.
It alleged my time had come, and together shall we flee.
Latched itself onto me, as it glared through those eyes,
I saw my whole life, from truth to painful lies.
I forced my eyes shut, realized it wasn’t a dream.
My body started to shiver, which soon led me to scream.
The pain, the agony, was killing me from inside.
For the first time it felt I had no place to hide.
I had found solace, no longer was I afraid.
Embraced death like a good faith and concurrently we fade.
