If I would have been given the chance
I would still have chosen the present life
Yes, this is what I would have chosen
Even after knowing that with it all the pains and difficulties would come too
The loneliness, the gloominess, and all the feelings true
And yes, I do know that those sleepless nights which I spent crying will come back again
And so will those helpless moments when there was no one to share the pain
But I would still choose to live this life rather than some other
Not because of the pains or because I’m a loner;
But, because of the lessons I’ve learnt from my mistakes
Because of the strength it needs, the courage it takes
To stand up again after falling
To face the world again after failing
I would choose this life
For the happy times I spent with my family
For the moments that me and my friends shared, full of glee
To experience again the endless love you have given me
And all those joyous moments which I couldn’t ever see
I would live this life
For the beautiful days still to come
To face the storm which is  kind to only some
To gather up the courage, to build up the fire
The fire which will continue to burn till I lay peacefully in my pyre…
