Suffocating In the Tears Of My Sorrow
I feel cold,
Lonely and hurt,
My heart is breaking,
I feel lower than dirt.
I curl up on my bed,
Hug my pillow tight,
Tears of grief slide down my face,
The devastation still burns of your lost life.
I'm still in shock,
Because it took you so quick,
I want you back so bad,
Layers of emotions are piling up thick.
I feel so alone without your comforting voice,
I keep waiting for you to walk through the door,
But you're gone and not coming back and I'm here,
Silently suffocating in the tears of my sorrow.
