Spring

The winter ends and in rolls the warmth of spring.

The leaves move through the air with the gentle wind.

The freshly cut grass smell permeates the air.

The sun’s rays like arrows shoot down through the earth.

The humidity condenses on the glass.

And I look around, enjoy it and smile.

The sun makes all of nature relax and smile

At the gentle beauty that comes with the spring.

The flowers grow first, as fragile as cold glass,

But as time grows, they become weathered by wind

And toughened with strength flowing up from the earth,

And they make their fragrance flow throughout the air.

The heat of summer mixing with the cold air

Of winter makes the spring air and a smile.

The warmth of spring comes and thaws the winter earth.

All creatures love everything about spring,

The peaceful, like water, always moving wind,

Which hits the window and taps against the glass.

The frozen wasteland of frozen winter, like glass,

Is shattered by the glorious warm spring air,

And the heated breeze and the dull, smooth wind

Cuts through ice, a knife, making all things smile.

The melted ice and running water start spring

And destroy winter and awaken the earth.

Everything is glorious on the earth.

The springtime is enclosed in a massive glass

Dome and it cannot be obstructed. The spring

Can see no end. There is only joy in the air,

No fear, no misfortune, and all things smile.

The joy, the bliss, the cheer, are carried by wind.

Slowly, sadly, fearfully, away dies the wind.

The sun’s rays pound down the heat onto the earth.

The heat makes me sweat and I try to smile.

I have to hide behind the safety of glass

Inside the safety of my house in cool air,

And I have to watch as away rolls the spring.

The wind no longer bounces against the glass.

The sun burns into and heats the earth and air.

I want to smile, but no longer is spring.
