To Keep on the Straight and Narrow
Parolee Cop
I’m trying. He’s failing.
Mistake after mistake.
How am I supposed to make it on my own? He shows signs of improving but…
It isn’t enough.
Where are my friends? Is no one on my side? Does he have someone to keep him good?
Life brings a challenge day by day
I don’t want to go back. I don’t want him to go back.
Failure is the expectation.
The pressure killed me, now I miss the sky. I have learned that: He cracked, now he’s back where he belongs. He know now that:
Freedom is something earned.
Life will get better, won’t it? They always come back.
Eventually.
