The Wind
You tickle my neck through my hair
And you rustle my shirt sending chills everywhere.
You raise up the leaves and throw them up to the sky,
Yet you still can’t push the mountains so high.
You cause trees to bend and fall.
I know you are there, however I can’t see you at all.
You come whether the time is wrong or right,
You come in the day or in the night.
You breathe great breaths of life
Cutting through the clouds as swiftly as a knife.
