Rain is the thing with regret-

Splattered in every drop-

And soaking the calm-

And the loud noise reminding you of your mistake

And puddles recall the obstacle

And rhythm must cause the storm

No making it stop

It's over, too late.

Its pouring down

All in the trees, the branches

You can't get it out,

It will eventually dry,

But you will still feel the dampness-

And maybe it would leave a stain.
