What will I amount to?
Will I ever live up to her?
Make my Mom proud.
Is it possible?
My Mom,
Intelligent,
Valedictorian,
Straight A's,
I will never live up to her.
Working my butt off
To get B's,
Always a pit in my stomach,
Trying to make her proud,
To call me her daughter.

School has always been hard for me, and when I hear my Mom speak about her high school expirence, it sounds so easy for her. I am always jealous of how succesful she was, and I feel that I am letting her down when I get B's.
