One Tear After Another
I don’t cry when things are leaving,
I cry once they’re gone.
Just the thought of her leaving makes me feel like I’m lost
Lost in space
Lost in time
I don’t know how I’ll ever find my way out.
How will I stop crying and regretting
And begin living and forgetting.
It’s a difficult concept for most to understand
The love sisters’ share isn’t a regular love
But its what I have and its what I need
I’m holding on tight
Please- don’t leave
Once she leaves I’ll cry a river
Flooding street after street
My pain will only grow bigger
If only there was a way to stop the clock
If only there was a way to buy some more time
One penny for a five-minute block
I would give it all that I’ve got
But no- I must accept the truth
I must enter the world of reality
For now- let the door remain locked
For now- leave me with the rainbows
For now- let me cry beneath my pillow
For now- just let it be
Let it be
She’s still here so I’m holding on
She’s still here but she’ll be gone
