The South
What happened to the days of our futures past?
What happened to sipping lemonade out of a crystal glass?
What happened to hearing sir or ma’am?
What happened to the sweet tune of a banjo jam?
Well let me tell you they’re not dead.
They’re very well still ahead.
I still bring the jams into my ears.
I love to grind my trucks gears.
I still over the taste of lemonade in my mouth.
I will always have my good times in the south.
