It's a Mystery

This story is about a girl. A girl, who has had a decent life, yet can’t help but feel lonely. This loneliness eventually caused her to become overtly depressed. Sometimes, she just wants to break down and cry, let loose all of the overwhelming emotions. She hides it from her family and friends by crying in solitude, whether it’d be in the shower or in her bedroom. The world has become too much for her to bear, to the point where she feels like she can’t breathe, almost like she’s drowning.
It doesn’t help at all that her family is running out of what little money they have, it’s only adding to the list of worries and problems she deals with every day, adding to the never ending list of the things that stress her out. She’s struggling, she’s stuck, she feels lost in the world. All she wants to do is hide, from everything and everyone. As the walls, slowly, close in on her… She finds a way. Her method is to steel herself, mentally and emotionally. She tries her best to help her family with the money problem they’re having.
Whenever her friends need to express themselves, or just need a shoulder to cry on, she’s there. She helps others with their troubles, giving advice, speaking soothing and comforting words that she knows they want and need to hear. There are actual days where her feelings become just too much to hold in again… Her friends, occasionally, notice the little changes in her actions and ways, they get just a glimpse on the surface… Of the chaos that’s taking place in her mind, her head… When she says she’s okay, though she knows she’s not, she’s relieved that they believe her.
But, then again… All she wants is for someone to stare at her. To look her in the eyes and realize it… All of it. She wants that one person to see just how broken and messed up she really is. She wants that person to hug her tight, to never let go. She wants that person to tell her, “I know you’re not.” Really… All she wants… Is THE ONE. So… She waits. She waits for that one day… The day that everything…  Will finally be alright. She actually has hope… Hope… For a better future.
