A Melody So Sweet

It fills the air surrounding me,
circling my head,
filtering through my ears,
wiping away my dread.
It fills my heart with every beat,
flowing from vein to vein,
with a melody so sweet
my soul dances along.
It wipes away the thoughts, so deep
I find it hard to breathe.
From my head my thoughts will seep
and leave me whole again.
