Psychotic Break

Nervously looking back and forth, rocking her body.
She couldn’t think straight; all the voices in her head.
She could even see the voices sometimes; yelling for her help.
She would stay awake all night; afraid the voices would get her.

Always wondering what is wrong with her,
she has her moments of clarity in between her crazy.
Sometimes people on the subway stare at her,
she can’t handle it and gets off.
“What’s wrong with me”, she asks herself.
“Why do they stare at me”, she continues to think.

As she enters her apartment she cries,
this was one of her clarity moments; when she realizes she needs help.
She sits on her bed, rocking her body back and forth once again.
Its the only thing that helps, she needs to get professional help.

The next morning she wakes up to men in white coming at her.
Betrayed by her own mother; she was sending her away.
She knew that it was for her own good, but how could her mom do that.
She was carted away to the looney bin.

Two weeks after being there she had become very crafty.
She had formed a rope out of strips of her clothes.
She tied them together with shaky fingers, trying to hurry.
They found her the next day; hanging.
