Snowflake
Like a beautiful speck of dust
   gliding through the cold air
Bring me your purity-
   that of clear, frozen rain.

Rain
Like teardrops from heaven
or the beads of sweat falling from its brow,
Bring me your spontaneity-
   falling randomly from the clouds.

Clouds
Cotton balls suspended in the sky
   just floating along
Bring me your strength-
the kind you use to shield the sun.

Sun
The huge ball of brightness embedded in the blue sky
that breathes life to this planet,
Bring me your warmth-
that you kiss upon the Earth.

Earth
The giver of life,
   home to many creatures and the beauty of nature;
Bring me your determination-
that you used to survive the test of time.
