In The Dark

In the dark
You arose
just to have
a fluttering glow
in a sense
you became
like no other
very grateful
for everything
while I am not
And with great joy
You erupted
in tears
when you found out
That the cats were gone
we were all sad
but you took it the best
even though
We all loved them
It was there time
To live a better life
When they were very sick
and when i told you where we brought them
it made it even worse
especially for me
because I watched dad bring in the evidence
of what he did with them.
