At the End of Each Day
Change of person, at the end of each day.
Smiles, laughter, each will soon disappear,
Leaving inner confusion colored gray.
The feelings of strength and control don’t stay,
Stamped out by disorder, this will reveal
Change of person, at the end of each day.
Like a traveler traveling safely away,
But suddenly lost in a land of fear,
Leaving inner confusion colored gray.
The silent sadness made by this dismay,
Just as soon magic transformation’s here!
Change of person, at the end of each day.
Duality, perfect paradox, sway
Logic astray, make room for thoughts unclear,
Leaving inner confusion colored gray.
At this moment, not knowing what to say
Since now it has become so strongly clear,
Change of person, at the end of each day,
Leaving inner confusion colored gray.
