Waking up on a Monday morning gives such a turbulent scare.
School again, time to face all but what I dare.
I feel the anxiety swarm inside, taking over all delightful memories,
The stress is a never ending pernicious reality.

On my walk to school, I imagine where I would rather be,
My pervasive mind sees a sea of trees.
The crisp leaves crunch at the sound of my eagerness.
Excited to explore the magical wilderness...

Step by step, I come about a small serene stream.
Tadpoles swim like an assured team,
Together they stand, ready to take on any difficult challenge-
Changing as they grow, not knowing it will happen.

The leaves fall when the brisk breeze welcomes itself,
Drift to the ground, one by ones self .
The leaves turn warm red, golden yellow, and a dark saffron-
The leaves, so naive not knowing they will once be gone.

The sun is disappearing, a cold nip in the air,
I reach for my coat, and realize its not there.
I try to imagine the warmth that I so desperately desire,
But my creativity seemed to expire.

Im back on the road, heading to a dreadful day at school.
Than I look up, and realize that this isn't so cruel.
The incandescent sun resembles my excitement to learn,
Realizing all the knowledge that I will once earn.
