Winter's Wishes
She stared at the crowds
Shifting from one store to another
Nights are lonely and dark for her
Only accompanied by her frozen breath
And the sound of the
Blistering
Whislting
Wind
White cold snow melts on her numb nose
She watches contemplating cheerful children
While
Wondering Wishes
Escape from the silver bells
She slips away from the frozen bench
And the wishes catch her innocent blue eyes
The wishes lead her forward
Singing an enchanting song
She closes her eyes and sees no darkness
She rips off her worn out gloves and only feels warmth
The girl is lifted away to a safe place
She opens her eyes
And watches as the splintering, icy bench
Is replaced by a new lost soul
