Behind Those Eyes
your dark smug face.
the smile as if you could do no wrong.
you laugh. but why do you laugh?
like a hurricane to a coastal town
you crash down.
like a teardrop you fall and with that dark smug face
you ravage. you terrorize.
but why? why do you terrorize?
you look down like a hawk spotting its prey.
you cut me with your eyes.
but why? why do you cut me with your eyes?
you try to dominate. but still disguise.
disguise the benevolant look behind those eyes.
and there i sit.
i sit and cry.
