Memories
Walking into the wilderness, friends by my side
I reach for a fallen branch that has just recently died
Over and through the valleys and hills
I will cherish these moments forever or until,
the moments have run out my time has come
Everybody surrounds me, so sad so glum
My family weeps in sorrow reminiscing on the past
Trying to remember where we were together last
But all I remember is that hike in the wild
Wishing to be able to go back to life as a child
Again
