Where Poetry Hides: Time Out Bear
The bear in the corner
with the buzzer on its chest
waiting for someone to twist it
so they can be punished too.
“Why can’t someone else get in trouble?”
It calls out to the room
Tick tock goes the clock
waiting for something good to snatch
Sitting there looking so evil
just waiting to snatch up another one
I know, I know
you're thinking how a teddy bear could be so evil?
Well let me tell you,
Whenever you see this bear you will want to run
you do not want to see this bear
it’ll give you nightmares for the rest of your life.
With the black skin as dark as the night
And dark brown eyes bulging out of his head
and the scariest part of all,
that white timer
ticking non stop until its time for you to leave and finally be free
This bear is everyone's worst nightmare.
Trust me,
you never wanna see this bear.
