One Day I'll See
I'm afraid of what they'll think
My heart feels as if it might sink
I tell myself their words don't matter
That I don't need them to make me feel better
Yet I want to fit in
I'll do anything to win
I don't want to be left out
Or consumed by doubt
Self conscious and unsure
I'm in an internal war
So I close my eyes
And tell myself I'll rise
I'll be a better me
I don't need to be like them, and one day I'll see
