Beyond the Neon
Few have looked and taken the time
To appreciate what's past city lights
And see those little lights that truely shine
Although small they have lots of shining might
When you escape the neon in trade for stars
Where man made lights are not the way
Run beyond the city till you get far
You may discover you want to stay
You will notice the beauty of they sky
Not wanting to get up from where you sat
Not noticing the time flying straight by
You'll say all sad "I don't want to go back"
Sad and glum you will head back to the neon
that cancels out the light you love.
