Believe in the possibility of anything and everything.~me

From dusk till dawn,
It's the same old same.
Like I'm stuck on the same track that never ends.
Oh narrator!?
Are you out there?
I am waiting here but your still not there.
Have you left me?
Gone off to another story?
Because my life is like a bad comedy,
And we can't seem to find the punch line.
Oh it's tragedy without the Hollywood make-up, in it's dullest form.
Please just say it's time for the curtain call!
Let's just let the curtain fall.
Oh narrator?
Where have you gone?
I am alone with my thoughts again.
And I need you to ease the guilt before I drown.
You've left me for so long,
Can I even still call you a friend?
The world is riddled with lies and deceits.
A new surprise at every turn.
But none of it matters without you here to put a meaning to it all.
Oh narrator!
Oh narrator?
Can you hear me?
I am calling out for you with blood shot eyes.
But you never answer me anymore.
You don't come to my rescue at all.
So I grab a pen and some paper and rewrite it all.
Because without you, Oh narrator, there is not story at all.

The author's comments:

I wrote this more like a song I guess. I am not really sure what it is. Take it how ever you want though. If you take it as a song though listen to wonderless by Pierce The Veil while you read. I wrote it to the same tune as that and while listening to it so it may provide you with a better experience. I feel like this poem is about looking for meaning or purpose. Like everything you do is all for not.
