I Once Saw A Girl Who Wore Only Black
I once saw a girl who wore only black,
the things that she wrote in her book would give you a heart attack.
People would laugh and bully this teen,
she was ashamed of herself, and was more depressed than she seemed.
Why am I different? Why aren't I the same?
No matter how hard I try, I can never quite change.
My personal style is not the same as theirs,
But why am I laughed at? Its only my personality that I'm trying to share.
My unique ways and outlook on life
have caused me so much trouble, and brought me too much strife.
Are my ways really so wrong?
I feel myself breaking and I try to be strong.
But its hard when no one accepts you, or lets those broken pieces mend.
When you wake up and your first unconscious thoughts are, please not this again.
I once saw a girl who wore only black,
A unique, and friendly personality was not something she lacked.
All year she would sit and write on her wall.
But then one month no one was there, no one at all
