as she fadded
We were sitting around her with broken hearts
We sang to her just to see if she was listening
We told her we loved her just to get it off of our chest
We tried not to cry in front of her because she taught us to be strong
She was fading right in front of my eyes and I could not do anything about it
I felt so hopeless
we all felt hopeless
Cancer took my grandmother away even though she already had beaten it once.
